Congratulations to Darrin Bartolotta and Jim Ornt on their recent promotion to blue belt!  They have been very focused on this goal and worked on what they needed to and it definitely shows.

Thanks to Roy Harris for putting on a great seminar!  The turnout was good, as I think everyone wanted a piece of that Roy Harris pressure :)  And by the evil grins on everyone's faces afterwards, I think that it was quite successful.

Congratulations to Mike Dauenhauer, Jason Roberts, Jarod Koopman, and Jeff Bok on their efforts in the recent Hayastan grappling competition in Fredonia, NY.  Mike and Jarod unfortunately met in the first round where Jarod was able to get the win in a hard-fought match.  Jarod went on to take 1st place in his advanced gi division, and 3rd in the advanced no-gi.  Jason took 2nd in his advanced no-gi division.  And Jeff took 2nd in his beginner no-gi division in his first competition.  Great job by all!
